Zyliss replaces half of the plastic in its utensils’ handles with wheat straw
Sustainability and ergonomics in the kitchen
Zyliss is committed to sustainability, having reduced by half the plastic used in the manufacture of its kitchen utensils. 50% of the raw material used to make the handles is now wheat straw, a durable and dishwasher-proof material offering the same quality so that the prestigious brand can uphold its five-year warranty. In addition, the handles have an ergonomic design to optimise the user’s experience.
Under the motto ‘Designed to Delight’, Zyliss has been manufacturing tools and devices to meet the needs of kitchens round the world since 1951. Their basic idea is that the utensils must not only do a great job, but they should also make users smile every time they use them.
This has made it an internationally respected brand, a favourite of gourmet chefs and cooks. Its latest releases will be present at HOSTELCO thanks to Comercial Muela.
