M+re Contract proposes avant-garde designs and high-quality finishes for its new chairs for the hospitality sector
Cutting-edge furniture made of sustainable wood
An expressive and avant-garde design with high-quality finishes and sustainable raw materials to make a difference in hotel and restaurant furniture. This is the proposal of Portuguese firm J.
Moreira da Silva & Filhos (JMS) and M+re Contract, its youngest and most dynamic brand, for the manufacture of chairs and tables for the hospitality sector. At HOSTELCO it will present ONE, its catalogue for 2024, which includes the new Dee, Ava and Aggy collections. As with all the company’s creations, the new models are only manufactured with certified wood from sustainable forests.
What distinguishes M+re Contract’s products is the development concept, the timeless design, the highly-detailed engineering and the competitiveness. The brand was created in 2007 with the aim of enhancing the commercial ties with JMS’ customers, developing new international contacts and positioning it in the contract industry.
It manufactures 200,000 chairs a year that are exported to more than fifty countries at its facilities in Porto. It has two factories equipped with state-of-the-art technology and a team of 170 specialised professionals guaranteeing high-quality production.
