HIODOM, the first humanoid for the hospitality industry
HIOPOS SOLUTIONS, a company created in 2010 by the tech group ICG Software (A&K Holding), presents HIODOM in the tech area of HOSTELCO, the first humanoid robot featuring AI for the hospitality industry.
This smart humanoid restaurant host interacts and holds conversations with customers, escorts them to their tables, manages waiting lists, and autonomously navigates the room to avoid obstacles. It also has a screen on which it displays advertising, and a QR code so that customers can place their orders themselves. HIODOM’s added bonuses include entertainment for parties and celebrations, such as birthdays, thanks to its built-in music and dances. HIODOM is just one of a series of robotic solutions that includes the HIOBOT waiter, which autonomously serves and removes dishes from tables.
Both HIODOM and HIOBOT are part of the global HIOPOS solution, cloud hosted, which helps to manage businesses much more efficiently, simply and intuitively. It’s a multi-device solution, allowing one to work with various points of sale (POS, tablet, smartphones).
